Countdown to Christmas 2018

Thursday 29th November  Relaxed Carol Service
Come and join us at 10.30am for the first carol service of the season.  This one will be a relaxed service for those with any issues that may make coming to a traditional service uncomfortable.

Friday 30th November  Countdown to Christmas
Bring the whole family to join us as we turn on the Christmas lights at St Peter's at 5.15pm. We will enjoy singing some carols as the lights switch on and then will proceed to Kings Park where we will stop and sing some more carols and finish up at Station Road where we entertain the commuters with more carols.  You don't need a good singing voice, just a willing heart and big smile!

Thursday 13th December  'The Nutcracker'
An annual favourite, produced by Saltmine Theatre Company and suitable for all the family, the performance starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are £8 (£6 for groups of 5 or more) and this event always sells out fast, so don't miss out.  To book, call the church on 01708 342080.


Saturday 15th December  Carols by Candlelight Service
Our traditional Saturday evening Carols by Candlelight service.
Your favourite carols, candles, and mince pies. We begin at 6:30pm - come early to avoid disappointment.


Sunday 16th December Carols by Candlelight Service
Carols by Candlelight on Sunday evening, because there's just no way we can fit everyone in to only one service. 6:30pm start.


Sunday 23rd December 9.15am and 11am
Morning service including children's nativity

Youth Service at St Michael's, Gidea Park at 5pm
For 11-18s and their families, with fun, games and carols - don't forget your Christmas jumper!


Christmas Eve Monday 24th December
At 2.30pm and 4.30pm we have our Family Services.  This service is aimed at the aged 10 and under with fun, games, carols and CHRISTINGLES!

Christmas Day  Tuesday 25th December
Our Christmas Day Family Service begins at 10:30am. If you would like to, please stay on for Communion at 11:45am.

New Year's Eve Monday 31st December
Welcome in the New Year at our very special Watchnight Service, 10pm - 1am. A fantastic worship band will help us to celebrate God's gift of a new year together.
