Life events 

As a Church of England church, we have the privilege of being here for you at significant moments in life. We are able to conduct baptisms and weddings for regular members of St Peter's and to those connected to the parish of Harold Wood.

We recognise that these life events are very significant moments and are often complicated to organise. A member of our team will respond to you swiftly, and talk you through the process from start to finish.

Baptisms

We are delighted to welcome both children and adults to Christian baptism. Baptism is a powerful picture of the Christian good news - that through faith in Jesus, we are washed clean from sin and made part of God's family, the church.

Baptisms of children (sometimes called Christenings) are held throughout the year during our morning services. We praise God for the gift of a child and parents and godparents declare their faith in Jesus and promise to seek to bring the child up in the Christian faith as part of the church family. We usually hold an baptism service for adults each December. Please get in touch to discuss whether this is the right step for you.

Weddings

We are able to conduct weddings for regular members of St Peter's or those who have a qualifying connection with the parish. Please get in touch to find out more.
